Idaho Falls, Idaho-March 20, 2008-Tight Line Media is earning national honors with a Silver Telly Award for its production of ‘Idaho Meth Project Awareness.’
Mountain View Hospital contracted with Tight Line Media for the video, which debuted at the hospital’s ‘Idaho Meth Project’ fundraising banquet in October 2007. “This is a tribute to all the people who came together to fight this
epidemic, especially those willing to share their revealing stories
about the kind of damage meth can do,” says Frank McGovern, Mountain View Hospital Director of Public Relations. “Mountain View is proud to be a part of this."
‘Idaho Meth Project Awareness’ also aired as a special on KIFI Local News 8 in October. The 10-minute documentary profiles the lives of four local people either addicted to meth or related to a meth user. Their painful struggle reveals the challenge facing the community and the state in the fight against meth. “We have a lot of work ahead of us,” says Meghan Ronk, Idaho Meth Project Executive Director. “We have great faith the Idaho Meth Project is going to work. We’ll do everything we can. It’s something we can’t afford not to address.”
